POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a PHP API Specialist with expertise in integrating SAP S/4 HANA to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PHP development, RESTFUL/SOAP API creation, and SAP HANA integration to ensure smooth data exchange and system interoperability.

• Candidates should have more than 5 years of experience in API development.
• Candidates should have more than 3 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA Integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based APIs for integrating with SAP S/4 HANA.

• Implement secure and scalable API solutions to facilitate data flow between SAP S/4 HANA and other applications.
• Design and develop custom connectors and middleware for seamless SAP S/4 HANA integration.
• Work closely with SAP consultants, backend developers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs to ensure seamless integration with third-party systems.
• Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Ensure API security and authentication mechanisms are robust
• Manage the end-to-end integration lifecycle, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs and integration processes.
• Ensure documentation is clear and accessible for developers and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for API-related issues.
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance integration processes.
• Developing web application components/features using various scripting languages with good design principles.
• Maintenance and monitoring of the developed features and aim for improvements
• Improve existing implemented code
• Debug/troubleshoot for any reported issues
• System integration using APIs, Sockets, Binary protocols, AMQP, MQTT etc.
• Develop performance-oriented SQL queries for web applications
• Write efficient and reusable code
• Write Unit Tests for all developed pieces of code
• Write migrations for database updates
• Understand clear requirements, develop quality features, and deliver on time
• Creating POC of any feature and explain limitations/overhead prior finalizing the solution
• Demonstrate the feature functionality for customer acceptance
• Entertain assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Regularly sync code with repositories

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong experience working with SAP S/4 HANA, including querying and data exchange.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA XS Engine, OData services, and CDS views is a plus.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based deployment (AWS/Azure) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of API design and Web Service Standards (REST, SOAP/WSDL).
• Working experience with PHP 7+ for over 5 years
• Working experience with CodeIgniter 3 over 3 years
• Working experience with MYSQL 5.6+ for over 3 years
